2013 in Film: A Year in Review.

In my eyes, 2013 has been a very unusual year for film. There was a lot more films I was interested in seeing in 2013 and I ended up liking a higher percentage of the movies I saw than in an average year yet a lot of the films I was anticipating highly fell short of my expectations. Even some of my favorite films of the year (Star Trek Into Darkness, Kick-Ass 2, The Wolf of Wall Street) weren't as good as I expected them to be. That being said, there was still a lot of quality on the marketplace this year from a wide-variety of genres. From vulgar comedies (This is the End, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) to high-budget blockbusters (Iron Man 3, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) to cheap B-movies (The Last Stand, You're Next) to late-year awards contenders (Rush, American Hustle),  there was an abundance of different material for people to enjoy at the cinema for the duration of 2013. Without any further delay, here are the rankings from worst to best for all 79 films I saw in 2013 complete with star ratings.
