Super Bowl Prediction
Baltimore Ravens over San Fransisco 49ers: This is a game that a lot of football fans (including myself) desperately wanted and I don't expect it to disappoint. This Super Bowl has no shortage of great storylines (The Battle of the Harbaughs, Ray Lewis's final game, Colin Kapernick's rapid rise to the top, Joe Flacco potentially joining the ranks of elite quarterbacks) and with these two evenly-matched teams hitting the field, I'm a expecting a battle. This should be a physical game that will be won in the trenches and while either side could very well come away with the victory, I like the Ravens in this game. This team has rallied around Ray Lewis and is truly playing their best football of the season. The Ravens need to establish the run, shut down the 49ers lethal pistol formation and have Joe Flacco make big plays in order to win this game and they are definitely capable of doing that. No one expected them to make it here and I think the fire of being the underdog and wanting to win a Super Bowl for Ray Lewis in his final season will lead them to victory in a very close game.
