40.Skeletonwitch-Beyond The Permafrost(2007)

Skeletonwitch is one of the best things to happen to metal in a long time. Beyond The Permafrost is just such an original sounding album. In my eyes Skeletonwitch is what Metallica would sound like if they Satan as a vocalist. Each song on Beyond The Permafrost is delivered at a lightning-fast pace and such manic energy. Beyond The Permafrost is the perfect fusion of blackened death and thrash metal that is truly refreshing to hear.

39.Gojira-The Way Of All Flesh(2008)

Gojira is the best thing to ever come from France. The Way Of All Flesh isn't much of a change from their previous work, but you what they say if it ain't broke don't fix it. This record is still heavy as hell and full of brilliant riffs. Gojira's sound is still different and groundbreaking and The Way Of All Flesh is yet another dynamite entry from them.
