Mid-Year Report:Music

After a fanatastic 2009, 2010 would most likely pale in comparison and that it does. There has been a plethora of decent to good releases but a only select few have excellent. 2010 has been home to a lot of dissapointments with some normally great artists (Rob Zombie,Eminem, a couple more) dropping the ball and coming out with really lame records. There has been a few very pleasant surprises(Annotations Of An Autopsy a band that I used to loathe with a passion coming out with a very good record being the most notable).Along with such always reliable favorites of my mine(The Dillinger Escape Plan,High On Fire,As I Lay Dying) meeting expectations and making excellent records that currently top my list. Hopefully 2010's 2nd half can deliver some excellent records but after 2009 2010 is pretty much a hard act to follow.
