As usual, with the Mayhem Fest lineup announcement coming at the end of January, the rumor mill is working overtime. Normally, half the lineup is known by this point in time, but this year there is conflicting information and no one really has a clue who will be on it. These are the bands that are being heavily rumored to be in talks.

We'll see how many of these bands actually end up on there. Arch Enemy,Children Of Bodom, Cradle Of Filth and Trivium are all playing Wacken in Germany, so they most likely won't be there, but Bullet For My Valentine played Wacken in 2009 and were still on Mayhem. I hope the 2011 lineup is another good one for Mayhem and I am eager to find out what bands will actually play.
