Best Albums Of The Decade(2000-2009): #86-85

86.Between The Buried and Me-The Silent Circus (2003)

The Silent Circus is one of the finest stepping stone records ever made. Between The Buried and Me's second record is a sign of the absolute brillance that the three following albums would bring. The Silent Circus is a very raw record compared to their future release. It's still pretty complex but there are more breakdowns and core influence than prog. Still The Silent Circus is quite the accomplishment with some classic BTBAM songs (Mordecai,Destructo Spin).

Standout Tracks 1.Mordecai 2.Destructo Spin 3.Camilla Rhodes

85.The Red Chord-Fed Through The Teeth Machine(2009)

The Red Chord latest effort, Fed Through The Teeth Machine ranks among the finest material they have ever done. This brutal behemoth of a record is deathgrind bliss. Fed Through The Teeth Machine adds a touch of proggy guitar work from Mike "Gunface" McKenzie to diversify their sound even further. The Red Chord continues to make spectacular, insanely heavy music and gets ignored by most metal fans. It's truly a shame The Red Chord are the working class heroes of the extreme metal scene and are an extremely underrated band.
Standout Tracks 1.Hymns and Crippled Anthems 2.Hour Of Rats 3.Ingest The Ash
